Step 1: Remove the affected Memory Stick Duo from your camera and connect it as a slave to the healthy computer. Download and install the Photo Recovery software on the system to which, the affected Memory Stick Duo is connected. Run the program by double-clicking the shortcut icon on the desktop. From the main screen that is displayed, select “Recover Deleted Photos” option to recover photos that have been deleted as shown in Figure 1 and proceed.

Step 2: Select the memory card which appears as a logical volume or storage device from which the data needs to be recovered as shown in Figure 2 and click on “Next”.

Step 3: The “Photo Recovery” software lets you select the image file types that are listed, based on their unique signatures, or may even skip this step as shown in Figure 3.

Step 4: Once the recovery software finishes scanning, the recovered files will be displayed shown in Figure 4. You can view the recovered files either by “Data View“or “File Type View” option.

Step 5: The “Previewoption will let you view the recovered images and help you to evaluate the capability of the application. You can save the pictures to any preferred location as shown in Figure 5.
